How many people does the cottage sleep?
Barra Woodview is a four-bedroom home sleeping up to eight, across a double, a triple, a single and a corner suite.
Is the cottage dog-friendly?
Yes — we welcome well-behaved dogs and their owners. We just ask that dogs sleep downstairs and that you let us know in advance so we can put down the old blankets. The fenced park below the house is ideal for a run-around.
Are children welcome?
Absolutely. The park is enclosed and the beach is just a few minutes away. There’s a travel cot and a highchair available on request.
Is there parking and Wi-Fi?
There’s off-road parking for two cars, and fast broadband throughout the house.
How do we get to Barra?
By CalMac ferry from Oban (about five hours) or Eriskay, or by Loganair flight from Glasgow, which lands on the beach. See our Getting Here page for details.
How far is the nearest shop?
Castlebay is a short drive away and has a well-stocked Co-op, a bakery, and a fish van. We’ll point you to all our local favourites when you arrive.
