Barra Woodview is a former croft house, nestled in beside the Criochan wood, where birdsong ambiance comes as standard.
The croft itself is actively worked — with the ‘park’ below the house being rewilded and an orchard laid: a great fenced area to walk the dog. It’s a quiet, natural setting, just a few minutes from the beaches and a short drive from Castlebay.
We live nearby, so if the boiler makes an odd noise or you can’t find the corkscrew, help is never far away. We want your stay to feel like borrowing a friend’s cottage — where memories are made, and the wild beauty of Barra brings families closer.
